Comfort Keepers is looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to join the care team supporting a long-term male client in Whitmore Lake who is thriving with in-home care . He receives 24/7 support, and we are looking for a strong team member who can help him maintain his daily routine, independence, comfort, and quality of life at home. This may be a great fit for a caregiver who enjoys longer shifts, appreciates consistency, and likes having the opportunity to truly get to know the person they support.

Schedule Tuesdays:

7:00 AM-7:00

PM Wednesdays:

7:00 AM-7:00 PM Weekends Saturday & Sunday availability: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Consistent 12-hour shifts Long-term client About the Client Our client is a nature lover who enjoys the comfort of home and has pet cats. He is living with moderate dementia and diabetes and benefits from a caregiver who can provide patient guidance, companionship, and consistency throughout his daily routine. Caregiver Responsibilities Provide companionship and positive engagement Guide and support the client through his daily routine Provide standby assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide medication reminders Assist with light housekeeping Help maintain a comfortable, organized home environment Provide appropriate support related to dementia care Transportation may be needed during the day using the client's vehicle Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, patient, attentive, and comfortable providing consistent one-on-one support . Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provides friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, etc.

Caregiver Requirements:

Companionship and/or Personal Care experience A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others Reliable transportation with a willingness to travel within Livingston County and willingness to transport clients in your vehicle Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration & valid Driver's License Ability to pass background checks and work-related references Must pass drug testing At least 18 years of age Comfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
