The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. Caregivers will work in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and group homes, providing personalized care tailored to each individual's needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in the client's condition. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary requirements. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies. Ensure proper housekeeping at all times Skills First aid and CPR certification not REQUIRED--will train Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring. Ability to assist with cleaning tasks while maintaining a safe environment for clients. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and HIPAA regulations. Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
