Home Instead is looking for a dependable, flexible, and experienced Caregiver to join our team in a Guaranteed Hours position serving seniors throughout the Wabasha area. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who wants the security of a full-time paycheck while still enjoying the variety of working with different clients and traveling throughout our beautiful river communities. What Does "Guaranteed Hours" Mean? You commit to an agreed-upon full-time availability, and we use that availability to schedule you with clients who need care throughout the area. You are guaranteed pay for 40 hours each week. Some weeks, you may work fewer than 40 hours — you will still be paid for 40 hours. Your schedule will never exceed 40 hours per week under this position. Service Area This position requires a willingness to drive approximately a 35-mile radius around Wabasha, Minnesota , depending on client needs.

Areas may include:

Wabasha Lake City Red Wing Plainview Winona and surrounding communities Because this is a traveling position, caregivers must have reliable transportation and be comfortable driving throughout the service area. Travel time between clients during the workday is paid. The Guaranteed Hours program is designed to provide additional income stability even when your scheduled client hours fluctuate.

What You'll Do:

Depending on the client, caregiving may include: Companionship and conversation Meal preparation Light housekeeping Personal care and hygiene assistance Medication reminders Mobility assistance Dementia and Alzheimer's care Transportation and errands Helping seniors safely remain independent at home
