Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Care Professional to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. In this vital role, you will be the primary caregiver, ensuring residents' safety, comfort, and well-being while fostering a positive and respectful environment. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those with diverse needs, including individuals with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day through active caregiving, attentive communication, and personalized support. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Operate manual handling techniques safely during resident transfers and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injury Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption while respecting dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in compliance with health standards Document care activities accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members and families Implement behavior management techniques tailored to individual needs and support residents' emotional well-being Follow all safety procedures including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and safe patient lifting practices Experience Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other cognitive impairments Join us as a Direct Care Professional to bring compassion, energy, and professionalism into every interaction. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour
