Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Professionals (Female - BFOQ) to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is vital in supporting residents during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort through attentive caregiving and assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to person-centered care and have experience working in long-term care or home and community settings. Responsibilities Provide direct support to residents during overnight shifts, assisting with activities of daily living such as personal care, hygiene, and mobility. Attend and participate in the interdisciplinary processes to provide service recommendations for resident(s). Communicates positively and effectively, and supports the efforts of co-workers. Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment. Uses calming therapeutic approaches with residents to provide consistent attention and opportunities for residents to learn. Provides continuous Active Treatment as defined by Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) Regulations. Completes duties as advocate for resident(s) and initiates communication with appropriate personnel when help is needed. Refers to daily planning checklists and completes required documentation. Provides positive and effective communication with the day activities, guardians/family, consultant, and any other vendors. Prioritizes tasks and uses time efficiently to complete assigned tasks. Provides consistent supervision of residents during all activities at all times. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Other duties as assigned Qualifications 18 years of age or older High school diploma Valid driver's license
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.50 per hour
