Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide almost full-time, Monday through Friday support to individuals in a home or community setting. This role offers an energetic environment where you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve. As a Caregiver, you will deliver personalized care, assist with daily activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive atmosphere that promotes independence and well-being for our clients. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and updating care plans accordingly Support with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, and assisting with feeding when necessary Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe movement and positioning Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Provide patient personal care assistance and support during medical appointments or community outings Perform light cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the living environment Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred Proven background in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and medication management Experience working with care plans and assisting with complex medical needs such as hospice or palliative care Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling, heavy lifting, or patient transfer methods is a plus Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Join us in making a meaningful difference! Pay:
$25.72 - $30.97 per hour
