Summary As a Caregiver/Companion at Philly Phil's Friends, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals by providing companionship and assistance with daily activities. This position is essential for fostering a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and independence. Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist clients with daily living activities, including driving or accompanying on Access Link or Uber/Lyft, shopping, and meal preparation and cleanup. Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being. Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Requirements Experience in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Strong observational skills to assess client needs effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
