Job Description

Caregiver for Children At SYNERGY HomeCare of Piscataway in Plainfield, New Jersey, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver for Children , you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families by providing high-quality care and support. Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to children with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or complex medical conditions in a home-based setting Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each child Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding Engage in activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development, including play therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy Maintain accurate and detailed records of care and progress Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and collaboration
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education, social work, or a related field preferred Experience working with children with special needs Basic life support certification (CPR/First Aid) and TB test required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
