Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and social skills Ensure the safety of children through vigilant supervision, childproofing environments, and adherence to safety protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress, behavior, and needs Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with best caregiving standards Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and promoting inclusive participation Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nanny roles Demonstrated experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children with a focus on childhood development and behavior management Knowledge of early childhood education principles and activity planning tailored for young learners Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood safety protocols is preferred Familiarity with classroom management techniques and youth program teaching experience enhances effectiveness in this role Ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while maintaining a positive attitude This position is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to support children's growth in a dynamic environment.
