Job Summary Join our home as a spanish speaking In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the life of my mom requiring personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to an elderly 94yr old woman in her homes, providing full care, safety, and well-being. Your compassion, patience, warm energy and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment that fosters trust and comfort. Whether assisting with daily activities or monitoring health needs, you'll be an essential part of our lives, ensuring my mom receives respectful, high-quality care every day. Responsibilities Assist elderly woman with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Prepare mom for bed, and through the night, reposition her to prevent bed sores, position her upwards in bed to prevent coughing, attend to personal hygiene, and help her feel assured you're there for her care. Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using patient transfer techniques Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to identify any health concerns promptly Prepare nutritious breakfast tailored to mom's dietary needs and keep her hydrated Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for mom with early stages of dementia, and poor physical and mental mobility Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and updates in compliance with healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Bilingual or Spanish speaking required Demonstrated ability to work with elderly individuals with disabilities, including developmental or intellectual disabilities a plus Knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, hospice care, and Alzheimer's care best practices Hands-on experience with patient monitoring tools such as vital signs measurement and manual handling techniques Familiarity with care plans development and medication administration procedures Certifications related to healthcare or caregiving are a plus Proven ability to communicate patiently and effectively with the patient and their families while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Apply today to become a valued member of our family!
