Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Alliance. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Support patient mobility using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safety during movement. Administer medications following care plans and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Support families by communicating effectively about client progress and any concerns related to health or behavior. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus. Familiarity with care plans, medication management, hospice care, neurodevelopmental disorders, autism support, intellectual disabilities support, and geriatrics is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders will be valued. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks while maintaining compassion and professionalism at all times.
