Job Description

Role Overview:
As a Weekend Caregiver at Assisting Hands of Greater Cleveland, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate, on-site assistance to our clients. In this role, you'll work directly with seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive essential daily living support. Whether you support them with activities ranging from personal care to companionship, your contributions will significantly enhance their quality of life. Immediate start in Parma, Brecksville and Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide medication reminders and ensure that clients follow their health plans. Support clients with specialized care based on their needs, such as post-surgery recovery or dementia care. Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to ensure that all client needs are being met effectively and compassionately.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their families. Understanding of the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges. Compassionate and patient, with a strong desire to make a difference in clients' lives.
Bonus If You:
Are certified as a Home Health Aide or have CPR/First Aid certifications. Have experience working with Veterans or in hospice care.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Part-Time, requiring availability Saturday and Sunday.
