Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance within their own homes. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, support independence, and promote well-being through dedicated caregiving services. You will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for each client while fostering a positive and respectful environment. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote independence and dignity. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition; report any changes or concerns promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to support health goals. Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Maintain accurate care plans and document all caregiving activities, patient observations, and communication with healthcare teams in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation, especially for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote overall well-being. Requirements Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification. Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or dementia care is advantageous. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely while adhering to safety protocols. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare providers; familiarity with care plans is a plus. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed; home & community care experience is beneficial. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour
