Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Administer medications safely following care plans and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and personalized engagement strategies. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social interaction and independence. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Document patient progress, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with clients' families or healthcare teams to ensure consistent quality care. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Experience working with residents requiring dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, or hospice support is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques; experience operating Hoyer lifts is a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients compassionately and effectively collaborating with families and healthcare professionals. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings or appointments are preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to home health or long-term care are advantageous. Pay:

$45.42 - $47.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 60.0 per week
