• ALS & Feeding Tube Experience Life is Golden Homecare is looking for a reliable, experienced, and dependable caregiver to provide high-quality non-medical home care for a client in Coplay, PA .

We are seeking someone who is comfortable working with a client who has ALS and a feeding tube and understands the importance of following the client's established care plan, safety procedures, and family/provider instructions.

Schedule:

Tuesday | 9:00 AM

• 9:00 PM Wednesday | 9:00 AM
• 9:00 PM Saturday | 9:00 AM
• 9:00 PM 36 hours per week What we're looking for: Previous professional caregiving/home care experience Experience caring for individuals with ALS or other complex care needs preferred Experience working around clients with feeding tubes preferred Reliable and punctual Patient, respectful, and professional Strong communication skills Able to work independently in a client's home Comfortable following a detailed care plan and safety protocols Must be dependable and committed to the scheduled shifts Must meet all applicable employment and caregiver requirements Responsibilities may include: Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living Companionship and supervision Assistance with mobility and positioning Meal/feeding-related assistance as permitted by the care plan and applicable requirements Light household support related to the client's care Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition to the appropriate person Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment Following all agency policies and client-specific care instructions Why join Life is Golden Homecare?
