Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
• Monitor and document changes in residents' health status
• Implement individualized care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for residents
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of hospice care, social work, and dementia care is a plus
• Familiarity with resident rights, HIPAA regulations, and medication administration protocols
• Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
