Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. This vital role involves creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development, possess excellent communication skills with parents and families, and demonstrate a proactive approach to activity planning and behavior management. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction. Support early childhood development through educational play, teaching basic skills, and encouraging positive behavior. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering (for infants/toddlers), nap times, and hygiene practices. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques while maintaining a nurturing environment. Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding of childhood development principles. Proven experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children in settings such as daycare or nannying. Strong knowledge of childhood behavior management strategies and activity planning for children of various ages. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is a plus. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within caregiving environments. Classroom experience or daycare experience demonstrating the ability to supervise children safely and effectively. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm while maintaining a positive attitude.
