Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional care to residents in Warminster, PA. This part-time position is specifically for Saturdays from 7 AM to 7 PM, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, home health, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and possess a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition, ensuring safety and comfort Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through light cleaning duties Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document patient observations, vital signs, and care activities accurately Follow established care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care and memory support Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment Comply with all safety protocols and healthcare regulations, including CPR and first aid standards Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, home & community care, or hospice care preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable Certifications such as CPR and first aid are preferred but not required; training can be provided if necessary Ability to lift heavy loads safely and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills and patience when working with diverse populations Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life Ability to work independently during scheduled hours on Saturdays only This role offers an enriching opportunity for caregivers passionate about providing compassionate support in a supportive environment. Pay:
