This role is part-time, 20 hours per week, semi-flexible schedule on the following days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. While a CNA license is not required, you must have prior caregiving experience and be able to pass a background check. Reliable transportation is essential. The position emphasizes professionalism, empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to client well-being. Responsibilities Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Support mobility and safe transfers to prevent falls or injury. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, sweeping, dishwashing, and changing bed linens. Provide medication reminders and observe the client's overall condition. Offer companionship and emotional support. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times. Monitor and promptly report any changes in physical or mental condition to the agency. Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client status. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in health condition. Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to ensure client well-being. Client transport.
