Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with special needs. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun. Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development standards, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws when necessary. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations to ensure the health and safety of children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns that arise. Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care tailored to their requirements. Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following daycare or classroom protocols. Skills Experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Strong activity planning skills to create stimulating educational experiences for young learners. Proficiency in behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and social skills. Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within caregiving settings. Prior experience in daycare, nannying, babysitting, or youth programs teaching roles is highly desirable.
