THIS IS NOT AN HOURLY POSITION.

This position pays a fixed salary of $2,600 per month , paid on the company's biweekly payroll schedule . Compensation is based on the employee accepting responsibility for the assigned residential schedule and duties of the position and is not calculated by multiplying scheduled hours by an hourly rate. Position Summary R & R Divine Living, LLC is seeking a dependable and responsible Residential Staff member for our Supervised Living home in Arlington. This employee will be the primary and only regularly assigned staff member responsible for the home during the scheduled hours. The staff member must be highly reliable, able to work independently, and capable of maintaining the safety, supervision, and daily needs of the individuals residing in the home. Because this is a Supervised Living setting, the employee may sleep during overnight hours when the individuals are asleep and no active assistance is required. However, the employee must remain inside the residence, stay in an appropriate area of the home near the individuals, and remain available to respond whenever assistance is needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to individuals residing in the home. Remain inside the residence throughout the assigned shift unless completing an approved activity with the individuals. Remain in the same general area of the home as the individuals and be available when needed. Respond promptly if an individual requires assistance during overnight hours. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily living as needed. Assist individuals with evening and morning routines. Prepare meals and snacks as needed. Administer or assist with medications according to training and company procedures. Complete medication documentation and other required records. Follow each individual's IPC, service plan, behavior support plan, nursing recommendations, and other required plans. Complete service documentation and shift notes accurately and timely. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home. Assist with laundry and routine household responsibilities. Provide transportation to appointments, activities, shopping, and other approved destinations when required. Encourage independence and development of daily living skills. Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or condition. Immediately report incidents, injuries, medication errors, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other unusual events. Follow all R & R Divine Living policies and applicable HCS and HHSC requirements. Overnight Expectations This is a Supervised Living position and is not an awake overnight position . Staff may sleep when individuals are asleep and no support is required.

Staff must:

Remain inside the residence. Sleep in the designated staff area. Remain close enough to respond when an individual needs assistance. Be able to hear or otherwise respond to activity in the home. Never leave individuals without required supervision. Be able to respond appropriately during emergencies. Reliability and Attendance Reliability is an essential requirement of this position. Because this employee will be the primary staff assigned to the home, consistent attendance is critical.

The employee must:

Report to every scheduled shift on time. Remain at the home for the entire scheduled shift. Provide proper notice of any absence or emergency. Remain on duty until the scheduled shift ends or approved relief arrives. Never leave individuals without appropriate supervision. Understand that repeated tardiness, call-outs, no-call/no-shows, or abandonment of shift may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred. Must successfully complete required background, registry, and exclusion screenings. Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record required if transporting individuals. Reliable transportation required. CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by the company. Must complete all required company and HCS training. Must be dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently. Must be able to respond appropriately to emergencies. Important Employment Understanding This position is a fixed-pay residential position and is not an hourly position. The employee will receive $2,600 per month, paid biweekly , for fulfilling the assigned residential schedule and responsibilities of the position. The employee acknowledges that the compensation structure and schedule are part of the position requirements and should be fully understood before accepting employment.
