Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures during transfers or mobility assistance Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members about residents' needs or changes in condition Qualifications Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training encouraged Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for transportation needs Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward clients of all ages and abilities Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality personal care in a supportive environment Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values your compassion and skills!
