New Caney, TX Job Overview The Perfect Caregiver For Me is seeking a dependable and experienced Live-In Caregiver / House Manager for an assisted living and memory care home in New Caney, TX. This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent work, a live-in arrangement, and a long-term caregiving opportunity. A caregiver room is provided at no additional cost. We have multiple shifts available including part time weekends. Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily care needs Provide medication reminders Assist with mobility, lifting, and transfers when needed Prepare meals and assist with daily routines Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a clean home Provide supervision and support for residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia Monitor resident safety and report concerns to management Work respectfully and cooperatively with other caregivers and staff Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred Memory care or assisted living experience is a plus Comfortable working with residents who may experience confusion, wandering, or verbal behaviors Able to provide hands-on care and assist with transfers Reliable, patient, respectful, and able to follow instructions Comfortable living in the home during scheduled work rotations Able to pass a background screening Available to start soon Living Arrangement Caregiver room provided at no additional cost Shared bathroom, kitchen, and common areas Caregiver is responsible for personal food expenses Application Questions Do you have experience working with seniors or memory care residents?
