Salary for
Caregivers:
$16.00/hour during your 90-day introductory period, with an increase at your 90-day review

Our Prosper office serves Prosper, Celina, Anna, Melissa, Van Alstyne, Howe, Aubrey, Savannah, Pilot Point, and Gunter.
Responsibilities and Duties of Caregivers:
In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to): Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home, along with positioning and support with walking Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving, plus grooming, oral care, and skin care Assisting with toileting and incontinence care Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions and the client's diet and preferences, and helping with eating when needed Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments, and shopping for groceries, using your own insured vehicle Medication reminders for medications the client takes on their own Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Dementia care Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc. Documenting your care in our electronic record and clocking in and out from your phone Noticing and reporting changes in a client's condition or home to the office right away
Qualifications and Skills of Caregivers:
18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance and assist with client transfers; comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, with coverage in your name or as a named driver on the policy A working mobile phone with text and data — this is how you clock in and how we reach you Pass a background check and clear the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Employee Misconduct Registry Pass a drug screen. Right at Home is a drug-free workplace, and direct care staff are also subject to random, for-cause, and post-accident testing after hire Pass our competency exam and a field skills observation during your first 90 days 6 months to 1-year experience preferred — or completion of a state-approved Texas Personal Assistance Services training and competency program. If you have the right heart and no experience, tell us. We train.
