Selah Creek, a faith-based maternity home, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Overnight Respite Care Support staff member to provide weekend care for our residents and their children. This role ensures a safe, supportive, and restful environment while maintaining the home's routines. This is a part-time overnight respite care support role for a local maternity home. The schedule is flexible, and we are looking for additional support to work 1-2 weekends per month. The primary mission of this role is to love and disciple our mamas and babies during the hours that you are "on call."
Be responsible for the safety of the residents during the evening and weekend hours. Be available to encourage and assist residents with their children as the need arises. Be available to drive residents in our ministry van to and from weekend errands as necessary and drive them to a church service. Be responsible for ensuring that the home is kept clean and in working order Provide quality care and service to residents that will include: Administering medication as needed Engaging residents in home life and activities Providing client-centered support/intervention Utilization of de-escalation and empowerment skills to best support residents and minimize the effects of secondary trauma Performs basic administrative tasks such as filing incident reports and completing daily house notes Maintain CPR certification and any other certifications/licenses required to safely perform duties Maintain and enforce all program policies as needed
Pay:
$250.00 per week
