Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while engaging children in meaningful activities that promote growth and development. Duties Provide attentive care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, learning, and fun. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, outings, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to handle minor injuries or emergencies promptly. Assist with toddler care routines such as feeding, diapering, and potty training as needed. Support early childhood education principles through teaching basic skills and encouraging curiosity. Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play. Qualifications Experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activity planning for young children. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and effectively in a childcare setting. Teaching experience with young children or youth programs is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with safety regulations. Childcare or nannying background that showcases patience, reliability, and enthusiasm for caring for children.
