Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive personal and supportive care to clients in various settings, including home health, assisted living, nursing homes, and memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional assistance. 16 hours

pm - 5 pm Fri. 9 am -1 pm Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity. Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment that encourages independence and well-being. Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of health deterioration or distress. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Proficiency in patient monitoring tools including vital signs measurement and documentation. Ability to operate patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts safely and effectively. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Experience with medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and basic life support procedures. Skilled in assisting with ADLs such as grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and personal transportation assistance. Manual handling expertise for heavy lifting tasks while ensuring safety for both client and caregiver. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, care planning collaboration, and team coordination. Pay:
$17.00 per hour
