Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and see what is possible for their future? Do you build strong relationships, connect people to resources, and believe that every student deserves the support needed to succeed? The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is seeking a Project ELECT Case Manager to support pregnant and parenting teens as they work toward graduation, career success, and greater independence. As a Case Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner and advocate for students navigating the challenges of balancing school, parenting, and their future goals. You will provide individualized support, connect students and families with community resources, collaborate with schools and service providers, and help students develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals. Provide individualized case management focused on educational success, personal growth, and long-term self-sufficiency. Help students identify and overcome barriers that may interfere with school attendance, academic progress, graduation, or career goals. Advocate for students and help them access community, educational, health, childcare, transportation, and other support services. Collaborate with students, families, school personnel, community partners, and other professionals to coordinate services and support. Help students set meaningful goals, develop action plans, monitor progress, and celebrate accomplishments. Provide encouragement, problem-solving support, and resources as students navigate the responsibilities of school and parenting. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, student progress, and program activities. Participate in outreach, programming, and activities designed to strengthen student engagement and success.
