Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound calls to confirm coverage approvals, co-pays, and specialty pharmacy details. Contact insurance carriers to obtain and enter accurate benefit information. Resolve complex payer and pharmacy issues to secure positive outcomes. Document detailed notes in proprietary software while conversing with customers. Research alternative funding and foundations to determine patient eligibility.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, or prior authorization experience. Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with strong accuracy while on calls. Dedicated home workspace with hardwired high-speed internet.
