The role involves customer-facing sales responsibilities and delivering culturally-sensitive healthcare solutions to seniors.

Location:

Westminster, CA Responsibilities / Job Duties Provide excellent customer service for the Community Center(s). Provide in-language support for members regarding their benefits and accessing care. Act as a Medicare Advisor with in-language support to community members with questions about their Medicare options. Schedule and coordinate health and wellness events at the community centers, including logistics and planning. Communicate and coordinate general building repairs with the Facilities Manager/Department. Maintain a proper inventory of equipment, supplies, and promotional/marketing items. Track and monitor traffic flow and utilization of services. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is working properly for quality assurance. Manage the use of space to host classes, activities, and trainings while ensuring safety and cleanliness. Identify and develop programs and activities that bring value and interest to the center by working closely with internal teams. Participate in member events and community events showcasing the health plan's benefits, including sales booths at events. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements Education High School Diploma Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience in marketing preferred. Experience working with an ethnically diverse population Active California Life and Health Insurance License is required or must obtain within 2 months of hire Skills Bilingual Vietnamese Experience working in healthcare, non-profit organizations, or senior community preferred. Event planning or coordination is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, experience serving the senior population a plus Ability to present to small and large groups. Desire to help seniors by improving their access and understanding of their healthcare options. Planning event details and aspects - must be detail-oriented and positive. Strong organizational skills.

Schedule / Shift

8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (one hour lunch), may need to be available to work on some Saturdays (which could mean earning overtime pay). Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
