We're building a grassroots, community-first campaign — and we need someone who can help keep volunteers, events, and local business partners organized and moving. What You'll Do Call and coordinate with volunteers to schedule shifts, canvasses, and events Reach out to local businesses to build event partnerships and community support Help plan and staff campaign events (Breakfast with George, town meetups, tabling) Attend select local events on behalf of the campaign Keep a simple log of contacts, RSVPs, and event outcomes Schedule 10-15 hours/week, flexible daytime and some evenings/weekends for events. Position runs August through November 2026. Who We're Looking For Friendly on the phone and comfortable making outreach calls Organized — can juggle multiple volunteers/events without dropping the ball Reliable transportation to attend local events (Willimantic, Norwich, and surrounding towns) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus Political experience helpful but not required — we care more about work ethic and follow-through Compensation $1,800/month, part-time, plus mileage reimbursement for event travel.
