The Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for expanding Alivio Medical Center's presence primarily in the Columbus, Indiana area, while occasionally supporting outreach efforts in Indianapolis and surrounding communities . This individual will serve as the face of Alivio Medical Center by visiting local businesses, manufacturers, schools, churches, community organizations, and networking events to educate the community about our healthcare services and establish long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate is bilingual, outgoing, creative, self-motivated, and enjoys both marketing and business development. This position combines community outreach, relationship building, sales, and digital marketing Previous Medical Assistant experience is not required . Candidates without a Medical Assistant background will receive hands-on training at Alivio Medical Center to become familiar with our healthcare services, medical terminology, clinical workflow, and patient care processes. This training will equip them to confidently educate employers, businesses, and community members while representing the organization professionally. Responsibilities Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns across multiple social media platforms to increase visibility and community participation. Plan, coordinate, and manage events that promote community involvement, including public presentations, product demos, and outreach activities. Build strong relationships with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders through face-to-face communication and personalized outreach efforts. Create compelling content for marketing materials, including flyers, presentations using software tools, and digital media to effectively communicate our message. Lead public speaking engagements and deliver presentations at community events to raise awareness about our programs and initiatives. Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze social media metrics and event feedback to optimize outreach strategies for maximum impact. Requirements Previous healthcare experience. Medical Assistant certification or Medical Assistant experience is a plus , but not required . Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Proven experience in event marketing, social media management, or community outreach roles. Strong customer relationship building skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Proficiency in presentation software (such as PowerPoint or Keynote) and productivity tools (such as MS Office Suite or Google Workspace). Demonstrated ability to lead team efforts, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and coordinate events seamlessly. Excellent face-to-face communication skills combined with public speaking experience for community outreach initiatives. Knowledge of B2B marketing principles, client communication strategies, and sales techniques is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; highly organized with strong attention to detail. Technical proficiency in social media platforms, marketing tools, and event management software is essential.
