This position coordinates and supports patient drives, vendor pop-up events, grand openings, community events, local partnerships, and other opportunities designed to increase Dabbs' visibility, strengthen community relationships, attract new patients, and support store and company growth. Working under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Community Engagement Coordinator proactively identifies opportunities for Dabbs to become more involved in the communities surrounding each store and coordinates the planning and execution necessary for successful participation. This position serves as a connection between the Marketing Manager, store leadership, vendors, community organizations, and event partners to ensure Dabbs is professionally and consistently represented throughout Mississippi. Company Expectations The Community Engagement Coordinator is expected to: ▪ Represent Dabbs Cannabis Dispensary with professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. ▪ Serve as a professional representative of the Dabbs brand within the communities we serve. ▪ Remain proactive, organized, dependable, and solution-oriented. ▪ Build positive relationships with store leadership, vendors, community organizations, event organizers, and business partners. ▪ Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners. ▪ Follow all company policies, the Employee Handbook, the Operations Manual, and all applicable regulatory requirements. ▪ Maintain awareness of company standards and expectations when representing Dabbs outside of the store environment. ▪ Participate in ongoing training and professional development. ▪ Protect confidential patient, employee, vendor, and company information. ▪ Perform all other duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities The Community Engagement Coordinator is expected to: ▪ Proactively research and identify community engagement opportunities throughout Mississippi that may increase Dabbs brand awareness, patient traffic, community involvement, and company growth. ▪ Maintain awareness of upcoming community events, festivals, business events, industry events, health- related events, sponsorship opportunities, partnerships, and other appropriate opportunities within the communities Dabbs serves. ▪ Research potential opportunities in existing and future Dabbs markets and present appropriate opportunities to the Marketing Manager for consideration. ▪ Maintain an organized statewide calendar of community engagement activities, upcoming events, deadlines, and potential opportunities. ▪ Coordinate patient drives designed to increase awareness of the Mississippi medical cannabis program and connect potential patients with appropriate resources while promoting awareness of Dabbs locations. ▪ Coordinate vendor pop-up events at Dabbs store locations, including communication with participating vendors, the Marketing Manager, and applicable store leadership. ▪ Coordinate Dabbs grand openings and assist with planning, organization, promotion, vendor participation, and event-day execution. ▪ Coordinate Dabbs participation in approved community events, festivals, expos, local business activities, outreach opportunities, and other events. Be proactive in finding opportunities rather than relying solely on opportunities presented by others. ▪ Develop an understanding of each Dabbs market and identify community opportunities appropriate for that location. ▪ Build meaningful relationships that strengthen Dabbs' presence within local communities. ▪ Maintain consistent communication with the Marketing Manager regarding upcoming opportunities, event progress, needs, and results. ▪ Approach every event with organization, preparation, professionalism, and attention to detail. ▪ Understand that every community interaction is a representation of the Dabbs brand. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ▪ Strong organizational and planning abilities. ▪ Ability to coordinate multiple events, deadlines, locations, and priorities simultaneously. ▪ Ability to develop professional relationships with community organizations, businesses, vendors, and event partners. ▪ Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with the Marketing Manager. ▪ Demonstrated initiative and ability to proactively identify opportunities. ▪ Strong attention to detail and follow-through. ▪ Ability to represent Dabbs Cannabis Dispensary professionally in public and community settings. ▪ Ability to obtain and maintain all required Mississippi Medical Cannabis Agent credentials when required for assigned duties. ▪ Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Mississippi as required. ▪ Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. ▪ Must reside in Central Mississippi to allow practical and timely travel to Dabbs locations, community events, and marketing opportunities throughout the state. Travel and Schedule Regular travel throughout Mississippi is required based on events, community opportunities, grand openings, patient drives, vendor pop-ups, and company needs. ▪ Ability to travel between Dabbs locations and community event locations as required. ▪ Ability to work evenings and weekends when events or business needs require. ▪ Schedule flexibility is required based on the timing of community and company events. ▪ This is a statewide field-based position. The employee's home location should allow reasonable access to all regions of Mississippi, as frequent travel throughout the state is an essential function of the position.
