Job Description

Multiple Positions Available BHALO Inc. is hiring Bilingual Screeners & Navigators for our Social Care Network (SCN) Program . This position helps community members complete social care screenings, identify their needs, and connect eligible individuals and families with essential services and resources.

Resources We Help Connect Clients To Food Assistance:

food pantries, grocery assistance, and home-delivered meals

Housing Support:

rental assistance, housing resources, and eviction prevention

Utility Assistance:

help with utility bills and other household needs

Transportation:

transportation assistance and public transit resources

Home Support:

home repair resources and assistance with essential household needs

Employment & Education:

job assistance, GED, ESL, and workforce training programs

Benefits & Social Services:

assistance navigating and enrolling in eligible public benefits

Other Community Resources:

referrals based on each individual's identified social care needs Responsibilities Conduct social care screenings and identify participant needs Explain available programs and resources to participants Connect eligible individuals with appropriate services Complete referrals and follow up to ensure participants receive assistance Maintain accurate screening, referral, and follow-up documentation Conduct community outreach and program education Coordinate with community organizations and service providers Requirements Bilingual

REQUIRED

We are especially seeking candidates fluent in Spanish, Bengali/Bangla, Mandarin or Cantonese, Urdu, or Haitian Creole Other commonly spoken NYC community languages are also encouraged Previous screening experience is a PLUS Experience in social services, community outreach, care coordination, or case management preferred Strong communication, computer, documentation, and follow-up skills Compassionate and comfortable working directly with diverse individuals and families Join BHALO Inc. and help New Yorkers access the resources and support they need.

Pay:

$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
