Octagon Ventures is looking for an energetic and people-focused Outreach & Event Representative to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, attending events, building connections, and representing meaningful campaigns within the community. Our team specializes in face-to-face outreach and event-based campaigns that help organizations connect directly with the public. As an Outreach & Event Representative, you'll work alongside a collaborative team at local events and community locations, helping create positive interactions, increase awareness, and encourage public involvement. No previous event or outreach experience is required. We provide hands-on training to help you develop the communication, event coordination, and leadership skills needed to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Represent client campaigns at community events and outreach locations Engage with attendees and members of the public through friendly, one-on-one conversations Share information about current campaigns, programs, and community initiatives Help create an engaging and welcoming experience at events Assist with event setup, organization, and day-to-day campaign activities Build positive relationships with community members Work with your team to achieve outreach and engagement goals Track campaign activity and provide feedback on event performance Participate in team meetings, workshops, and ongoing professional development You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy meeting and talking with new people Have strong interpersonal and communication skills Work well as part of a team Are comfortable in a fast-paced, event-based environment Bring a positive and professional attitude to work Are organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities Enjoy working toward individual and team goals Are interested in developing leadership and management skills New team members receive complete training in: Event and community outreach Public engagement and communication Campaign representation Relationship building Event coordination Goal setting and performance tracking Team leadership and development As you gain experience, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in campaign coordination, team development, training, and leadership.
