Position Summary The Health Planner I supports public health programs through grant management, community engagement, and program coordination. This role helps develop and evaluate health promotion strategies, works with community partners, and ensures compliance with funding requirements. Some programs, particularly harm‑reduction activities, require evening hours. Key Responsibilities Program coordination for wellness, safety, and harm‑reduction initiatives (including evening events). Grant management : tracking, reporting, documentation, and communication with funders. Develop educational materials, trainings, and evidence‑based interventions. Participate in committees, workgroups, outreach events, and community engagement activities. Respond to public health inquiries and maintain partner communication. Support emergency preparedness; may work outside normal hours during public health emergencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Education or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of health promotion and grant management preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‑based reporting tools. Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation. Pay:
$19.29 - $31.17 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
