Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator Experience Theatre Project Aloha, OR Job Details Part-time $24 - $27 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Bilingual Foreign language proficiency Interpersonal skills Collaboration Driver's License Organizational skills Media relations Full Job Description Experience Theatre Project is seeking a passionate and outgoing Bilingual Outreach Coordinator to build meaningful relationships with the diverse communities of Washington County and the greater Portland area. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the arts, enjoys connecting with people, and is committed to making live immersive theater accessible to everyone. The Outreach Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between Experience Theatre Project and Spanish-speaking communities, community organizations, schools, businesses, and cultural groups. This position will develop and implement outreach initiatives that increase awareness of our productions, educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and special events while helping ensure that all members of our community feel welcomed and represented. Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with Hispanic/Latino community organizations, schools, businesses, churches, libraries, and cultural centers. Represent Experience Theatre Project at community events, festivals, and networking opportunities. Identify opportunities for partnerships that increase participation in theater programs and performances. Coordinate bilingual outreach campaigns to promote productions, classes, workshops, and special events. Assist with translating marketing materials, flyers, social media content, and community communications into Spanish. Recruit and engage volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Work with local media and community leaders to increase visibility within Spanish-speaking communities. Gather feedback from community members to help improve accessibility and programming. Track outreach efforts and prepare regular reports on partnerships, attendance, and community engagement. Collaborate with staff to develop initiatives that make immersive theater welcoming and accessible to first-time audiences. Qualifications Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. Experience in community outreach, nonprofit organizations, education, arts administration, or public engagement preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Experience with social media and community marketing is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
