Job Description
Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Coaches on Campus Coordinator to serve as the connection between Bucks County Community College and BCOC's nationally recognized Economic Self-Sufficiency (ES) program. This unique, full-time position is ideal for someone who attended a community college and understands the life-changing impact accessible education can have on students. The Coaches on Campus Coordinator serves as BCOC's primary representative on the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College, building relationships with students, faculty, and staff while connecting eligible students to resources that help them achieve long-term stability and success. This position divides time between the Newtown campus and BCOC's Bristol office and is contingent upon contract funding. Responsibilities - Represent BCOC on Newtown campus, promoting BCOC's programs and services for eligible students. Network, conduct outreach, recruit, and build strong bonds with college faculty, staff, and students. Complete intakes and assess eligibility for students to BCOC programs. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving strategies when assisting students to address obstacles and resolve crises. Provide emergency services to eligible students as appropriate. Perform case management duties for caseload of up to 10 ES clients. Provide clear instructions for students to access resources and referrals to partner agencies. Track data and referrals. Generate reports as needed. Identify and problem-solve barriers to enrollment in the ES program. Qualifications - Must have attended a community college (Bucks County Community College alumni preferred). Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate's degree required. Exceptional engagement, collaboration and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
