We are seeking a passionate, mission-driven Development & Outreach Director to expand our impact in statewide programming, fundraising, and community engagement. Position Summary The Development & Outreach Director is a key member of the FADV team and works closely with the Executive Director to advance the organization's mission through strategic program administration, fundraising, donor engagement, community partnerships, and public awareness initiatives. In this role you will oversee statewide survivor support programs while also leading business development efforts, managing signature fundraising events, and increasing community engagement through outreach and communications. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a passion for cultivating relationships in the nonprofit sector. We are a small but motivated team, and our ideal candidate is one who can take the lead on their own initiatives and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership Lead one of our signature statewide programs with strategy, implementation, and operations.

Foster partnerships with domestic violence shelters, nonprofit organizations, and community service providers. Conduct program evaluations to identify service gaps and inform strategic program expansion. Lead statewide awareness and education campaigns highlighting the impact of domestic violence and increasing access to resources. Plan and facilitate one-of-a-kind statewide roundtables of domestic violence shelters and service providers to strengthen collaboration, shared learning, and coordinated services across Utah. Development & Fundraising Partner with our Executive Director to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors. Develop and implement strategies to grow the organization's donor base and increase philanthropic support. Secure corporate sponsorships and nonprofit partnerships that expand funding opportunities and strengthen community engagement. Events & Community Engagement Plan, organize, and execute community outreach events and signature fundraising events from concept through completion. Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, sponsorship fulfillment, volunteer coordination, timelines, and event budgets. Represent the organization professionally at community events, donor meetings, conferences, and public presentations. Manage the organization's social media strategy and content to increase awareness, engage supporters, promote events, and communicate organizational impact. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, business,or a related field. Experience in donor cultivation, fundraising, and relationship management. Experience planning and executing community outreach and fundraising events. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience developing partnerships with community organizations, corporations, and public stakeholders. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience managing social media platforms and digital engagement strategies is preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Fundraising or sales experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
