Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Director to lead and inspire our youth programs within a vibrant faith-based community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster spiritual growth, provide mentorship, and create engaging activities for young members of our congregation. The Youth Director will serve as a vital leader in nurturing the faith journey of youth, encouraging their involvement in church life, and supporting their personal development through meaningful programs and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities Rightly divide the truth of scripture and preach/teach twice a week with a focus on the completed work of Christ Lead youth ministry activities, including religious education classes, and retreats. Provide mentorship and pastoral support to youth members, offering guidance on faith-related questions and life challenges. Coordinate volunteer efforts Foster strong relationships with families and the wider church community to encourage active participation in youth programs. Organize fundraising events if necessary Collaborate with church leadership to align youth activities with the organization's mission and religious teachings. Requirements Proven experience in youth engagement within pastoral or religious settings, ideally with a background in youth ministry or religious education. Leadership skills Be in agreement with the Baptist faith and message 2000 and the greater confessional the 1689 London Baptist profession of faith. Experience working with children and teenagers in educational or faith-based environments. Excellent communication skills for effective outreach, event planning, and community engagement. Ability to manage volunteer teams and coordinate multiple programs simultaneously. Prior experience in nonprofit faith-based organizations or religious organizations is highly desirable. Pay:
$12,000.00 - $15,000.00 per year
