CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

HALF-TIME

Rooftop Church Rooftop Church is a non-denominational, English-speaking, independent church in Placentia, California. We are a growing and vibrant community of families and young adults passionate about loving God, loving people, and making an impact in the world. Our Children's Ministry is experiencing exciting and rapid growth, creating new opportunities to reach and disciple more children and families. We are seeking a half-time Children's Ministry Director who loves Jesus, loves children, and is excited to help build a thriving ministry for the next generation. The Director will oversee the Children's Ministry, shepherd and equip our growing volunteer team, partner with parents, and work closely with the Lead Pastor and staff to carry out the mission and vision of Rooftop Church. This is an exciting season of growth, and we are looking for someone eager to join us in what God is doing and help shape the future of our Children's Ministry.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing / facilitating the church's vision
• Executing weekly Sunday services for CM
• Pastoring the CM children and its volunteers
• Recruiting and equipping volunteers for Sunday services
• Developing and implementing programs/curriculums for CM
• Planning and executing special events such as VBS, Fall Fest, Christmas and retreats
• Communicating and working with parents
• Attending weekly pastoral staff meeting Qualifications include:
• Evidence of genuine passion and commitment for Jesus
• Evidence of love and care for children
• Leadership to command both adult volunteers and children
• Be able to strategically plan structures and implement them
• Be able to work in team settings
• Passion for detail and committed to making things better
• Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited school Application Requirements include:
