Full Job Description Description:
The Director of Faith Formation (DFF) is a practicing Catholic who upholds Church teaching both in word and by manner of life. A passion and capacity for understanding and caring for the real lived experience of St. Ann's members are critical. An ability to connect the faith authentically to members, in a way that frees them to live differently in Christ, is also essential. Knowledge and experience in effective Catholic faith formation is helpful. The DFF must demand personal excellence and the same excellence for the entire parish. The DFF must be convicted about the difference compelling faith formation will make in the lives of St. Ann's members and families. The DFF must be a great communicator, responsible, transparent, approachable and able to navigate expectations and conflict.
Requirements:
Responsibilities (40 hours) Culture and Communication (5) Continual development of a compelling faith formation program with pastor and parish leadership, discerning what is needed in the following areas: Human Formation, Intellectual Formation, Relational Formation, Discipleship, Liturgy, Prayer and Mission Maintains excellent data and relationships with parish members Faith Formation (25) Responsible for discerning and ensuring optimal faith formation experiences for the following audiences in the parish Preschool (Young Child Center and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) ? Grades K-8 (St. Ann School and Religious Education) Grades 9-12 (Youth Group) College Age 18-24 year olds Celibate Young Adults (25-35 year olds) Engaged and Recently Married Mothers and Fathers of Young Children Men's Formation Women's Formation Marriage Enrichment Legacy Enrichment Engages entire parish in missionary discipleship formation, and tracks levels of engagement and effectiveness Hosts an annual missionary discipleship summit, with the goal of 500 commissioned or committed missionary disciples launched from St. Ann Engages a Faith Formation Committee of lay volunteers Staff Collaboration and Communication (10) Keep an active, listening relationship with all staff so as to serve their needs. Weekly 45 minute meeting with the Pastor. Collaborates with advance planning as requested. Attends staff meetings and days of recollection

Salaried based on experience and performance. Full Archdiocesan Benefit Package Offered. Reasonable Work and Travel Expenses Reimbursed. Annual raise considered July 1 each year. Continuing Education by Request.
