Duties:
Supervise and review the collection of admission documents, ensure completion and forward to the appropriate departments as necessary Supervise or perform interviews of residents/guardians and obtain required information and signatures Assist in the orientation program for residents/personnel Maintain an accurate record of available beds Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility Maintain a resident waiting list in accordance with established policies and procedures Keep current on Medicare/Medicaid provider regulations for skilled nursing facilities Maintain daily and monthly census report as directed The Marketer is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility marketing plan Establish and maintain positive relationships with clinics and hospitals in the area Organize and manage resident medical appointments and transport schedule Responsible to respond to customer requests and concerns and help promote a positive admissions & referral process for all parties involved Supervise and review the collection of admission documents, ensure completion and forward to the appropriate departments as necessary Assist in the orientation program for residents/personnel Maintain an accurate record of available beds Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility.
Qualifications:
Admissions experience in a healthcare facility required Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and part of an interdisciplinary team Positive attitude and driven by desire to serve others Marketing / Community liaison experience in a healthcare environment Knowledge of the community preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills
