Job Description
Primary Function:
The Northwest Indiana Regional Representative is responsible for coordinating the development,implementation, and assessment of recruitment efforts in the assigned territory.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Proactively recruit and assist prospective high school students (via e-mail, phone, virtual information sessions, coffee chats,scheduled appointments, and/or recruiting events) Follow up with inquiries, applicants, admits and deposits to provide continuouscommunication, support, and direction Planning and execution of travel and office-wide recruitment efforts. The expected timeframefor travel is 8 weeks in the fall and 2-3 weeks in the spring Includes Chicagoland Area Maintain high visibilitywhile representing the institution at college fairs, community-based organizations, and high schools Communicate with prospectivestudents, parents, and high school counselors to facilitate recruitment efforts Participate in college preparatory programming whenpossible Work will be performed primarily in the Northwest Indiana and Chicago areas but some in-person attendance on campus may berequired (ex: Onboarding, Staff Orientation, On-campus Recruitment and Yield Events)
Note:
The Office does not reimburse employeesfor commuting expenses related to the need to be on campus This work is to be done in the region for which you are recruiting andcannot be done from other areas/states
Application Management:
Read and evaluate admission applications for geographicterritories in a timely manner. Assist in holistic application review; assist in follow-up for application completion Maintain aworking knowledge of financial aid programs and policies in order to communicate with students/parents and assist in the yieldprocess Represent the Office of Admission with campus constituents including but not limited to Athletics, Faculty, andAlumni Represent the College in various State and National organizations Maintain regular contact with Admission teammembers including weekly team meetings and scheduled one-on-one meetings with supervisor

Responsible forappropriate use of College credit card during travel and accurate expense reporting using

Promote a positive image of Hanover College and represent the College in accordance with the College'smission, principles, and strategic plan Support .a welcoming College environment Perform / complete other projects and tasksassigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Education, Certifications, Training, Experience Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years Enrollment experience preferred Must live in or near the NorthwestIndiana/Chicago area This is a regional position not a remote position Skills, Competencies,Abilities Knowledge of Slate or other CRM systems Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment Able to make decisions and respond to challenges quickly and with ease Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills Valid driver's license, excellent driving skillsand comfortable in various driving conditions/environments Must be eligible to be an authorized College driver
