Position Summary:
The Public Safety Student Admissions Advisor is responsible for recruiting, advising, and enrolling adult students into University's Adult Accelerated programs, with a primary focus on individuals working in law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections, and other public safety-related professions. This is an enrollment-focused admissions position requiring a strong ability to engage prospective students, build relationships, manage an active recruitment pipeline, provide consistent follow-up, and guide individuals through the admissions and enrollment process. The Advisor is expected to contribute directly to established enrollment goals while taking ownership of prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment and successful start. The Advisor actively engages prospective students through proactive phone outreach, text, email, virtual meetings, onsite Public Safety events, agency visits, andmunity-based outreach. This position requires demonstrated experience in recruitment, admissions, relationship development, sales, or a similarly goal oriented environment, along with strongmunication skills,fort working toward measurable enrollment oues, proficiency with technology (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Teams), and the ability to build credibility and relationships with working adults and Public Safety professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruit and enroll Adult Accelerated and Public Safety students through proactive outreach, relationship-based recruitment, personalized advising, and consistent follow-up using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Teams, and multiplemunication channels. Manage and advance an active admissions pipeline by developing relationships with prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, addressing questions and potential barriers, and guiding students from inquiry through application, enrollment, registration, and start. Meet established enrollment and recruitment activity goals while delivering a highly supportive, student-centered admissions experience tailored to working adults and Public Safety professionals. Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase inquiries, applications, enrollments, and starts among Adult Accelerated and Public Safety student populations.
  • Conduct consistent and proactive outreach through phone, text, email, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments.
  • Take ownership of assigned prospective students from initial inquiry through successful enrollment and start.
  • Use a relationship-based recruitment approach to understand prospective students' professional goals, educational needs, concerns, and decision making factors.
  • Clearlymunicate University's programs and the benefits of accelerated education for working adults and Public Safety professionals.
  • Effectively address questions and concerns related to cost, time, transfer credit, work schedules, tuition reimbursement, and returning to school.
  • Clearlymunicate next steps, requirements, and deadlines to help prospective students progress through the enrollment process.
  • Maintain consistent and professional follow-up throughout the admissions cycle.
  • Re-engage inactive leads, iplete applicants, previous inquiries, and other prospective student populations to identify additional enrollment opportunities.
  • Lead presentations, information sessions, and 1:1 advising appointments tailored to adult learners and Public Safety professionals.
  • Represent University at police departments, fire departments, correctional facilities, Public Safety agencies, employer sites,munityanizations, and recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Leadership to identify admissions barriers and rmend solutions to improve the prospective student experience and enrollment oues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, business development, outreach, or another goal-oriented, relationship-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage prospective students or customers, build relationships, manage a pipeline, provide consistent follow up, and achieve established goals.
  • Strong telephone, interpersonal, and relationship-development skills.
  • Experience working toward measurable enrollment, recruitment, sales, or production goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred), ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal andmunication skills with the ability to engage working adults and Public Safety professionals.
  • Highlyanized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and a large prospective student pipeline.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal oriented and results-driven environment.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and regional travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of successful experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, business development, or a similarly goal-oriented field.
  • Experience in higher education admissions with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding enrollment goals.
  • Experience working with non-traditional, adult, or accelerated student populations.
  • Experience working with law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections,ernment, or other Public Safety populations.
  • Background in employer partnerships, business development, or workforce development initiatives.
  • Understanding of adult learning needs, Prior Learning Assessment, transfer credit, tuition reimbursement, and accelerated degreepletion pathways.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Regularly required to speak, listen, sit, and use technology for extended periods.
  • Onsite work required including occasional evening and weekend work.
