Midwest Behavioral Health Center (MBHC) is seeking a passionate, relationship-driven Strategic Partnership Representative to serve as the face of our organization throughout Michigan and surrounding states. As our Strategic Partnership Representative, you'll cultivate relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, community agencies, managed care organizations, schools, courts, and referral partners while helping individuals and families navigate the behavioral healthcare system. You'll play a critical role in supporting organizational growth through outreach, business development, and strategic partnerships — all while ensuring people receive the care they need, whether within MBHC or elsewhere in the community. What You'll Do Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, behavioral health providers, physicians, schools, community agencies, managed care organizations, courts, and other referral sources. Conduct regular outreach visits throughout Michigan and surrounding areas to promote MBHC's programs and services. Generate referral opportunities that support patient admissions and organizational growth. Serve as a trusted resource for community partners seeking behavioral health services and placement assistance. Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical, and Operations teams to facilitate timely referrals and admissions. Guide patients, families, and referral sources through the admission process while providing timely updates, education, and ongoing communication. Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers by serving as a consistent point of contact. Collaborate with assigned staff to coordinate and monitor alumni communications and engagement activities to foster long-term relationships with former patients and families. Help individuals and referral sources navigate admission criteria, insurance requirements, and available treatment options. Remove barriers to treatment by assisting with care coordination, transportation, funding, insurance, and community resources. Represent MBHC at community events, conferences, networking opportunities, and professional organizations. Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, contracts, and service expansion. Maintain referral pipelines, outreach activities, and business development metrics using CRM and tracking systems. Prepare reports related to referral activity, community engagement, and organizational growth. Serve as a positive ambassador for Midwest Behavioral Health Center and uphold our mission, vision, and values. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining timely communication with community partners, patients, and families. Results-driven with outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare systems, insurance, and community resources. Excellent communication and relationship building skills, as well as professional presentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently. Valid driver's license and ability to travel out of state. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field. Two (2) or more years of experience in behavioral health outreach, admissions, business development, community relations, healthcare marketing, case management, or a related field. Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Established relationships within Michigan and the Midwest behavioral health, hospital, or healthcare communities.
