POSITION

School Counselor (FT/PT, 10-month, FTE Based on Enrollment)

ASSIGNMENT

Incarcerated Education/Alternate High School Program (School Counselor position is an itinerant, can be reassigned in the department)

SITE/BUILDING

Various locations in Suffolk County, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review student records and progress Develop students' schedules, assign courses, and schedule students for state examinations Maintain contact with students, parent, teacher, and district staff Conduct individual and group counseling sessions Collaborate with colleagues and program partners to support transition and post-program planning
