Bilingual Spanish/English speakers are strongly encouraged to apply What You'll Do
Provide basic breastfeeding information, encouragement, and support by phone and in person at the WIC clinic
Help participants work through common breastfeeding concerns and barriers
Follow up regularly with an assigned caseload of WIC participants
Assist with prenatal classes and breastfeeding support groups
Refer participants to WIC nutritionists or the Breastfeeding Coordinator, as needed
Keep accurate, confidential records of contacts
Attend trainings, monthly staff meetings, and breastfeeding conferences/workshops What You'll Need
Have breastfed at least one baby (does not need to be current)
Enthusiasm for breastfeeding and helping other parents succeed
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
