School Social Worker - Oro Grande, CA

Job Description

Make a real impact by delivering essential mental health services to students for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled LCSW to provide support and advocacy for adolescents in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is credentialed, organized, and passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active LCSW license required Registered NPI number and active enrollment on the PAVE portal (mandatory) Prior experience working with children or within school environments strongly preferred Familiarity with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and counseling best practices Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Candidates already holding required California school credentials are highly preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect social work and mental health interventions to students Conduct individual and group counseling sessions Develop and implement case plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Offer crisis intervention services as needed and connect families with community resources Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Assist in developing and supporting mental health programs on campus
