We are currently seeking a School Counselor/School Social Worker for a school-based opportunity in the San Fernando Valley, California for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details School-based, on-site position 30 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule Serving students in grades TK-12 Caseload of approximately 20-40 students depending on case intensity Start ASAP through the end of the school year Provide direct student support focused on social-emotional and IEP goals Qualifications Appropriate California credential or licensure for School Counselor or School Social Worker services Previous experience working with school-aged students preferred Experience supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services preferred Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills Pay $50.00-$55.00 per hour Up to $1,650 per week Responsibilities Provide direct counseling and behavioral intervention services to assigned students Conduct recurring individual or small-group student sessions Support students in meeting social-emotional goals identified in their IEPs Track and document service minutes, session notes, and student progress Maintain required documentation using Welligent or related student-service software Attend IEP meetings and provide Present Levels of Performance summaries Collaborate with teachers, families, special education teams, and related service providers Monitor student progress and adjust supports based on individual needs When You Work with
